Stephen D. Cashin
Founder & CEO, Pan African Capital Group LLC

Mr. Cashin is the founder and CEO of Pan African Capital Group (PACG). Established in 2004, PACG focuses on three key areas; investment banking and advisory services, asset management, and private equity throughout Africa. Previously, Mr. Cashin was founder and Managing Director for the Washington Office of Modern Africa Fund Managers, LLC from 1998 until 2004 where he was responsible for identifying the majority of the investors in Modern Africa Growth and Investment Company LLC, a $105 million fund capitalized by private institutional investors and leveraged with the support of the U.S. Overseas Private Investment Corporation. Prior to joining Modern African Fund Managers, Mr. Cashin was employed by Equator Bank, a member of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation from 1984-1996. He graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and has his MBA from Boston College.

Paul Barry
Vice President, DTC plc

Mr. Barry comes to DiscoveryTel with more than 10 years of solid financial, business and merger and acquisitions in the telecommunications industry. Paul will evaluate a myriad of companies for mergers, acquisitions and joint venture opportunities that compliment the company’s business goals. Previously, Mr. Barry served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Shared Technologies Fairchild Inc. where he was a pivotal member of the management team when the Company successfully merged with Fairchild Communications Services Company. His main responsibilities included financial modeling, bank negotiation and due diligence review. Mr. Barry received his Masters of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Kofi Datsa
General Manager DTG

The General Manager has over 19 years of experience in the information communications technology industry and also a rich experience in working with international firms. At Research International where he started his professional career, he served as the Data Processing Manager and later as the Executive in charge of all international adhoc marketing research jobs and continuous marketing research jobs. At Africa Online Ghana, he was the Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager before moving to NATEL Ghana limited, another Data and Internet Service company as the Deputy Managing Director with special responsible for Business Development, Sales and Marketing. He had a stint at African Concrete Products Limited as the Sales and Marketing Manager before joining the Engineering Systems and Services Limited (UCOM) where he had served as a director for four years (2006-2010).
Kofi holds a masters degree in Communications Management (Telecoms, Internet and Broadcasting) from Strathclyde University in the United Kingdom. He is an alumnus of the University of Ghana Business School where he obtained a bachelors degree in Business Administration (Marketing). Before that, he had obtained a Diploma in Data Processing from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology. Kofi has academic interests in Business Strategy, Telecommunication Policy/Regulations and recently joined the academic faculty of the Ghana Telecoms University as a part-time lecturer of Telecommunications Policy and Regulations at the graduate school.
