DiscoveryTel is in a market that has significant potential, where there is minimal competition and high probability of growth.  We target markets that are technologically underdeveloped and markets that have low penetration rates of telecommunications. These markets are underserved and plagued with poor quality service and unreliable infrastructures. We aim to differentiate our products and services by making them more reliable and consistent than our competitors’. 

 

Investment Considerations

Africa is the world’s second most populous region with 923 million people.  Telecom services grow 40% per year in African markets.

Mobile penetration in Africa is only 22% as compared to 94.3% in Europe and 62% in the Americas.

There is a low level of competition across all telecom/data services.

High tariffs and access to fixed line services present a unique opportunity for highly profitable wireless service deployment.
